Those quiet, beautiful years growing up in "Brissie" have always been my foundation. I've covered quite a bit of territory since then. I've seen a lot of people and places - but the memories of a slow, peaceful childhood in our little corner of Queensland will always be my treasure. Wherever life takes me, I have my fortune.

The Eye Of A Needle

Always liked walking around with my metal detector. It was my favorite hobby since I was a kid. One day the buzzer went off and my whole world changed. One of the rarest coins in existence, they told me. The amount it brought at auction was astounding. I'm still shaking my head. Most people keep detecting even after finding something good, of course. But most people never score like I did. It was huge. A lot of folks keep playing the lottery after winning big. It's funny; as fond as I was of detecting, I stopped after The Find. Now, I just walk - and give money away to those who can really use it. I've found a new treasure to hunt.

I yearn for the complete removal of Karmic obstacles. But in yearning - I am grasping, and being drawn back onto the wheel. What to do? I have been thinking lately that the answer, as some have said, is in intention with acceptance - passion with detachment - a heart on fire beating in the chest of a placid observer

Feelin' Groovy

I Love the Sixties. The music, the art, the spirit of revolution. Some people laugh now - at the hippies, at the "new consciousness." But a lot of important things came out of those times. It wasn't perfect but the cause of liberation did advance from everything that happened. The ideas are still important - everyone has the right to question the rules; to question authority - vigorously but with respect for each other. It's more important than ever.          Peace.

Contanique

I had lived, more to the point - survived, on Terinaz Core for quite awhile. I had dug Gypsanime from the ground morning to night, driven wealthy Placktos around, even tended bar in the azure light district. But when I met Contanique, I knew it was going to take more than surviving, and I would find a way. She seemed to really be interested in me. I would find a way. There was the little matter of that "pet" of hers, Gonta. He was a Crue-sunian and they were known to swallow humans whole. Well, in a couple of bites, anyway. Ha! But then I found out he liked popcorn. Popcorn with lots of butter. Hard to get but I had a connection. Gonta and I became buddies, and I was in.
